  It was my first time at a bed and breakfast and I would say it was an absolute delight. The people were wonderful and the breakfast each morning was fantastic.

  My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this B & B. In fact, we would've loved to have stayed longer, but were under a time crunch. Excellent location, fabulous view of the ocean and Cape Breton coast, terrific breakfast, great internet access, friendly staff, and best of all, a very reasonable price. [This place was about $25 cheaper than many of the really crappy motels we stayed in.] We recommend the MacCleod without hestitation...it's terrific!

  The reason for the visit to Inverness was to golf Cabot links and the cliffs. In booking the trip from home we didn't know where best to stay.

  If your in town looking for a place to stay while golfing, I would recommend the inn over the golf resort any day.

  Mr. Macleod keeps a clean house! A perfectly nice place to stay if you want to enjoy the Cabot Trail or just chill out with relaxing views of the greenery and ocean. The breakfast was fine- healthy options and items I probably would've had made myself (hard boiled egg, cheese, yogurt, melon, hot coffee, rolls- that's all you need, no?). We had the room in the front with the private bathroom. It seems like you are the only one staying even though quite a bit of business rolls through.
